About us
Jacqui Forte, CEO and founder of Forte Travel Management, has spent over two decades working in environments that most logistics and advisory firms decline to enter. Her operational career spans emergency response coordination during the Yazidi crisis in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq, healthcare programme management in post-conflict Sierra Leone, and corporate stakeholder relations for a major oil operator in Northern Iraq — navigating tribal governance structures, regional government authorities, and the external communications demands that come with operating in politically sensitive territory.
That breadth of direct field experience is the foundation of Forte Travel Management, the specialist consultancy she founded in 2012. FTM works with energy operators, media crews, NGOs, and expedition teams deploying into complex, remote, or hostile environments — providing field logistics, cross-cultural preparation, local government relations, and project communications from a single point of contact.
Jacqui's particular specialism is predominantly Muslim-majority frontier environments: the communities, governance structures, and social protocols that Western operators routinely misread, and the practical preparation that prevents those misreadings from becoming security incidents, project delays, or the permanent loss of social licence.
She delivers where it counts. Pre-departure preparation is available, but her preference — and her clients' greatest advantage — is in-country presence: on the ground alongside a team when the first community introduction is made, the first government meeting is held, and the first operational decisions matter most.
